We’re pleased to announce the National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum’s new exhibit focused on mine site reclamation is now open to the public. Climax provided financial support and subject-matter expertise for this project, drawing on our record of responsible reclamation and sustainable mining practices. The exhibit explains the importance and necessity of reclamation, which is the process of returning mined lands to beneficial use, as well as the different methods of reclamation. The exhibit features tools needed for reclamation and encourages visitors to take home seeds for planting at home. Visit the Museum in Leadville to experience this educational exhibit for all ages.
