Henderson mine and mill celebrated Earth Day in more ways than one this year!

On April 22, employee volunteers teamed up with the Grand County Water Information Network (GCWIN) and Headwaters Center in Winter Park for an Earth Day event. Henderson provided students the opportunity to participate in a science experiment in which the Henderson team demonstrated how to treat and clean impacted mine water. This hands-on experience gave the students and parents an opportunity to understand Henderson’s commitment to environmental stewardship and our water management practices.
