Climax Hosts Stakeholder Open House in Summit County

On Tuesday, April 23, Climax Molybdenum provided an update to Colorado stakeholders on operations, recently published peer-reviewed research on water standards, and plans for future research and testing. The meeting was held in Summit County and included local water specialists, scientists, engineers and community members.

Climax subject matter experts made presentations about regulatory and rulemaking efforts, the status of independent reviews of molybdenum science across scientific organizations, and the state of water quality monitoring. The presentation was followed by a productive discussion.

The event is part of Climax’s ongoing outreach effort to engage with stakeholders and the surrounding communities with information about company plans and operations.
